Description:
This surgery is a demonstration of the educational opportunities that will be provided by Second Chance to participating schools.

Draft Agenda: 5-10 minute introduction, 20-30 surgery, 10 minute Q & A.

Materials: Some materials may be emailed to Ag teachers in advance for distribution to students.

Must confirm: Send Preston 1) Cart number to call, and 2) Phone number to room.

Be ready: At 12:30 on day of broadcast, connections will begin. Carts must on by 12:30. Wait for this call. Do not call anyone on cart.

Be set up: Carts ready means room set up with camera set on students, microphones tested and adjusted, cart on with no active calls at 1:30. Materials printed and distributed.

Note: The center will call you between 12:30 and 12:50 p.m. You can call Preston’s cell number for status 928-243-1927. After connection and volume is tested, you will switch microphone to Off position until your class is called upon.

Practice or set up: Contact Preston before this day if you want help setting up and making sure you’re ready.

Dora and her class will be butchering a steer and pig this day.  Your students may quietly observe while working through lessons or discussions on far end sites.  Mics should be off or muted so local discussions are not being broadcast.
