Planning Essentials (see more

1.
Be on time and prepared.
2. Share IP addresses or Cart
number and test
connection for bandwidth, camera, lighting, sound.
3. Share contact information (phone) if needed prior to connection.
4. When setting up, there will be echo problems if you here your voice over
speakers. Mic Mute, and Line Mute must be checked on Audio Tab of
Control Panel (Advanced Settings).
5. Unless otherwise planned, WAIT FOR HOST TO CALL YOU!
6. Keep IP numbers and telephone numbers handy during the conference.
7. Set up room so all can be seen and heard.
8. Connect with remote site 15-30 minutes early to test.
9. Cue DVD or other equipment if needed.
10.
Establish ground rules for behavior, interruptions, and breaks.
11.
Don’t make unnecessary noise.
12.
In multi-point calls, identify yourself and location when speaking.
13.
Speak clearly.
14.
Tell those in control if you can’t hear or see.
15.
Always act as if the microphones and cameras are on.
16.
